The 2024 Thailand Green Tech Exhibition—an influential regional green-technology event—was successfully held from 24 to 26 October. Organized by the Thai-Chinese Science & Technology Association, the Shanghai Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the CAS Bangkok Innovation & Cooperation Center and Thailand’s Ministry of Energy, the expo ran under the theme “Green Technology for a More Livable World.” Nearly 100 companies and institutions from Thailand, China, South Korea and Japan showcased their latest advances in energy transition, low-carbon mobility and energy-saving solutions.

AcePower, a leading provider of highly-efficient energy solutions, brought nine star products—including high-efficiency charging modules and on-board chargers—to the banks of the Chao Phraya River, offering Thai and global audiences a unique experience.

AcePower’s innovative profile drew a constant stream of technical experts and industry professionals from Thailand’s energy, new-energy-vehicle (NEV) and charging/battery-swap sectors.

During the show, AcePower’s cutting-edge solutions received personal attention and praise from Professor Emeritus Kasem Watanachai, Privy Councillor to the King of Thailand (fourth from left, above), and Dr. Pichai Sonchaeng, Director of the Technology & Innovation Collaboration Bureau, Chulabhorn Royal Academy, and Secretary-General of the Thai-Chinese Science & Technology Society (pictured with Ms. Shang Yunsi, Deputy General Manager of AcePower).

Driving High-Efficiency Energy Transformation

AcePower Accelerates High-Quality NEV Development

On the afternoon of 25 October, AcePower was the first Chinese company to take the stage at the Green Tech Exchange. Deputy General Manager Shang Yunsi delivered a keynote speech titled “AcePower’s High-Efficiency Module Technology Accelerates High-Quality NEV Development,” sharing insights on global NEV and DC-charging markets and introducing the company’s advanced products and solutions.

Ms. Shang noted that, to meet dual-carbon goals, electric vehicles play a vital role in cutting CO₂ emissions and enabling the energy transition. The IEA predicts global EV sales will exceed 70 million units by 2030, representing a 60 % new-car penetration rate. This growth will drive an explosive expansion of charging infrastructure—especially DC fast chargers that best meet driver expectations.

By 2030, the number of public charge points worldwide is expected to surpass 15 million—four times the 2023 figure—and DC fast-charging stations will grow the fastest. High-efficiency power modules, the core of fast chargers, are therefore entering a golden development phase.

AcePower’s mission is to deliver the most-needed high-efficiency technologies and products, revolutionize energy use and help customers succeed. Since its inception, the company has concentrated on highly-efficient power conversion and supply, pioneering the adoption of SiC (silicon-carbide) technology to achieve 97 % full-load module efficiency. While rapidly scaling module sales, AcePower has built a diversified product matrix—from 30 kW high-efficiency modules to 120 kW liquid-cooled high-efficiency modules, and from unidirectional to bidirectional charging—covering virtually every DC fast-charging scenario. All products have been fully validated in the marketplace.

Drawing on the core team’s 20-plus years of power-system expertise, AcePower has also expanded from “mobility power” to “energy power,” providing megawatt-class power systems for AI-era data centers and water-electrolysis hydrogen production. Successful deployments have already created a dual-engine growth model, pioneering new frontiers in high-efficiency energy applications and ensuring a stable, efficient supply for the surging electricity demand of future transport and AI.

AcePower High-Efficiency Air-Cooled Module Series

AcePower High-Efficiency Air-Cooled Module Series:

In the NEV PV-storage-charging zone, AcePower displayed industry-leading 30/40 kW high-efficiency modules featuring

SiC design, 97 % full-load efficiency

Ultra-quiet < 58 dB operation

Full potting encapsulation for IP-class dust, moisture and corrosion protection

Wide 260–530 VAC input for broad compatibility

Low maintenance and reduced total cost of ownership (TCO)

The 30 kW V2G (vehicle-to-grid) high-efficiency module, core of AcePower’s PV-storage-charging integrated solution, responds to the trend of using EVs as mobile energy storage. With SiC technology, it delivers 95.5 % full-load efficiency and supports four operating modes: AC/DC charging, DC/AC off-grid discharging, DC/AC grid-tied bidirectional charging/discharging and AC/DC bidirectional charging/discharging. Its 150–1000 VDC ultra-wide voltage range matches diverse equipment, offers strong protection and long design life, and is suitable for PV-storage-charging stations and residential storage applications.

When the V2G module is deployed in an integrated PV-storage-charging site, EVs can charge during off-peak hours and discharge during peak periods, shaving peaks and filling valleys, optimizing grid load, balancing grid pressure and improving energy-utilization efficiency—thereby increasing EV value and flexibility and supporting an efficient, eco-friendly new power system.

Ace Power High-Efficiency Liquid-Cooled Module Series

At the entrance of the hall, a compact and stylish ultra-fast-charging pile mock-up quickly drew crowds. AcePower’s 40/60 kW liquid-cooled high-efficiency modules feature:

SiC design, 97 % full-load efficiency

Whisper-quiet < 40 dB operation

Smaller size and higher power density for simplified system design

IP65 protection, capable of withstanding high temperature, high altitude, dust and salt spray

Extended service life for public ultra-fast-charging stations, highway ultra-fast-charging sites and heavy-duty truck battery-swap stations, supporting the next generation of ultra-fast-charging infrastructure

Highly-Efficient On-Board Power Solutions

In line with the NEV market’s demand for high efficiency and compactness, AcePower’s APU division showcased three on-board products:

6.6 kW bidirectional OBC + 3 kW DCDC (standard)

11 kW bidirectional OBC + 3 kW DCDC (integrated)

6.6 kW bidirectional OBC + 3 kW DCDC (high-efficiency version)

All products offer high efficiency at low cost, miniaturization, light weight, high power density and multi-in-one integration, and have entered volume production. The OBC module supports flexible wide-voltage output to suit different vehicle battery systems. The DCDC module enables bidirectional energy flow, wide output-voltage range and low current ripple; it achieves 95 % efficiency at 300 W and features average-current control with buck, boost and active-discharge functions, plus 270 A peak-current capability for short durations.

Looking forward, AcePower will continue to innovate around high-efficiency technologies, focus on core fields, expand into diverse scenarios, move from China to the world, and provide customers with cost-effective, one-stop power solutions that contribute to high-quality NEV development.

On 5 November 2024, the 7th Shenzhen International EV Charging & Battery-Swap Exhibition will open at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center. AcePower invites you to visit us at Booth 1A285, Hall 1
